Summary
'Of all the students, and subjects, and universities, of course Baby had ended up in his class.
His first day in his new career, a need for something more grounded, something settled, and the very being that had been his silent desire all summer long was now dismantling those needs from the middle row.'
San moves back to Seoul for a fresh start, ready to begin life as a university professor and to maybe find someone to settle down with. And that didn’t involve boys in their twenties in bunny costumes, no matter how gorgeous they were.
Velveteens was meant to be a temporary distraction—an anonymous summer spent chasing a beautiful, provocative 'Bunny' through a trashy, neon-lit wonderland before starting his new life. That is, until his first lecture when he’s faced with the very boy he’s been flirting with all summer long. Jung Wooyoung.
Baby... Bunny... Student...
And it seems Wooyoung has no intention of pretending it never happened.
Or
Wooyoung is a failing fourth year art student and San is his new Professor. They begin a forbidden relationship, but with his academic future on the line and San's career at risk, it becomes a dangerous game neither of them can control.

Summary
San’s parents were soulmates. Before he learned anything about soulmates in elementary school, he knew what it meant. Soulmates were fated, born for each other, to be with each other. Soulmates were beautiful. He remembers the pit in his stomach when his teacher explained that most people didn’t have a soulmate. He watched his mum and dad every day, saw the way they moved around each other, worked together, and loved each other from the depths of their souls.
He couldn’t imagine not having that for himself, and for a long time, he looked to the sky every night and hoped that someone out there was born to be with him, born for him.
This wasn’t what he thought having a soulmate would be like. Not what he pictured. He had to remind himself that he and Wooyoung didn’t fit the mold of typical soulmates. They were idols. Cursed to be with each other nearly every waking moment, day and night, but forced to maintain distance.
An incredibly ironic tragedy.

Summary
Choi San would do anything for Jung Wooyoung. That's what best friends are for, right? For San, that means going to a party that he doesn't particularly want to attend, following Wooyoung around for the night, and drinking too much. It's a chance to let loose and have fun, and if it made Wooyoung smile, it's totally worth it. Something anyone would do for their best friend. Right?
i.e. San and Wooyoung are idiots and find an entirely different definition for "best friends."
