Summary
Most know Wakiya Komurasaki as the purple-clad, arrogant rich kid who destroys his competition in beyblade tournaments. Outside the dish, he’s socially inept, prone to meltdowns and rigidly trains in every spare moment to defeat one particular red-eyed blader. His Autism causes him to hyperfocus on all but social conventions, which fly right over his head like a burst beyblade. Thankfully, he has Hoji, who is always by his side no matter what. With the help of his curly-haired friend and two posse members who listen to whatever he says, Wakiya is convinced he can handle anything.
That is, until this year’s district tournament. When a certain hyperactive natural talent knocks him out before he can face Shu, Wakiya vows to train harder than ever. This hardly leaves time for friendship; the less opportunities to be confused by social interaction, the better. But when unforeseen circumstances bring him into the Beigoma Academy Bey Club, Wakiya’s underdeveloped social skills are put to the ultimate task: To become friends with its members.
