Summary

“You’ve been glaring at that tabloid for the last five minutes, Yoojin-ah,” Sung Hyunjae points out mildly. He looks curious when Han Yoojin glances up at him across the breakfast table—head tilted, an inquisitive slant to his smile and amusement glinting in his eyes. He takes a slow sip from the coffee mug in his hand, and Yoojin’s eyes definitely don’t follow the line of his throat as he swallows.
Instead, Yoojin glares down at the tabloid one more time, just for good measure, and then flings it onto the table. It lands face up on his empty plate, open to the page he’d been reading.
Or, a tabloid publishes a less than flattering piece about Sung Hyunjae. Han Yoojin is less than pleased.

The world was no stranger to soulmate marks.
They had been known about them since the dawn of time. Popping up here and there for seemingly no reason at all. Not much was known about their origins, or how one got one. Some were born with one others were not but somehow gained one over time.
The marks took on many different shapes, from the first words your soulmate would speak to you to tattoos that could grow to cover almost your entire body. The latter being much more rare, as those had come to be associated with warriors throughout history.
Then, of course, some did not bear such a mark but were soulmates in their own right.
Two such people are The Plum Blossom Sword Saint, Cheongmyeong, and The Dark Saint, Tang Bo.
