Jim starts a new timeline, but he quickly loses his memories of the failed timeline. There’s lore about Jotun- half-dragon, half-trolls that helped Gunnar fight the previous Gumm Gumm king. One Jotun refused to help Gunmar, and was imprisoned for centuries alone, then promised a reincarnation. Jim’s acting especially violent (has beaten Steven like four times at this point) and seems to have ice abilities. Toby watched him turn into a Creature one night. Strickler thinks Jim is a changeling and hasn’t ratted him out for the museum break-in or beating Steve.
Last seen: Jim tells Toby he won’t come in to school bc he’s feeling sick, and Toby tests teachers with a gaggletack. -

Lots of glamouring to stay undercover. Harry fights another were who is part of the trafficking ring. Harry resists accepting his wolf because Teddy was killed by weres. Draco’s persecution after the war has caused him to radicalize against aurors and fight for were rights.

Alcor erases his memories and starts over with a Mizar named Mallory. They live at a funeral home with their mom and dad, who has a terminal illness. Dipper goes to college and leaves Mal behind, who takes responsibility for supporting her parents and abandons her dreams of college. Lucy Ann visits Dipper after 20 years of him settling into a new life, just when he’s starting to pick up mystery solving. They begin to follow a series of strange events, culminating in Dipper discovering the hideout of a jewel thief. The thief panics and attempts to regroup with Mal, who planned the jewelry heist to help support her parents. Mal kills the jewel thief (potentially a Henry) to tie up loose ends, but Dipper’s brush with the jewel thief has him obsessed with finding out where he went. Along the way, he discovers a body snatching demon who seems to be pointing him toward Mal. Lucy Ann attempts to exorcise the demon, but it turns out to be the Woodsman in a strange state. Mal uses her talent with enchanting and glasswork to frame Dipper’s informant on the bodysnatcher as the jewel thief’s girlfriend. The informant is arrested, and Mal learns that her family is still falling on hard times. She plans to extort Xiaofan (the informant) for her innocence. The jewel thief’s getaway car was abandoned nearby the funeral home and still hasn’t been moved.

A fic with tons of heart and incredibly accurate emotion. A great story about generational trauma, gray morality, and learning to move on. Plot (SPOILERS): Vlad gets a heads-up from Clockwork a few weeks before the Nasty Burger incident. Clockwork coaches him about parenting and helps him work through his past traumas with the Fentons and his Mama and Papa. Danny has an accurate teen response to losing his family and getting closer with Vlad. Their relationship is tested when Vlad’s ecto acne returns. Danny makes new friends in Wisconsin and has a jock boyfriend named David. Vlad revisits the past with an old business partner, Tom Green. Vlad blames himself for what happened to Tom, but ultimately shows himself to move on. Danny panics because he has started to move on and attempts to take his own life. He reunites with his family for one last goodbye and chooses to stay with Vlad.

Dani gets mind controlled and attacks Gotham, leading Danny to self-sacrifice and experience a Death Echo.
