Mingyu had barely advanced to the rank of Lieutenant a year ago, which was why he had his own tent, but it wasn’t a nice tent and should not have the Emperor in it.
“Erm,” Mingyu said, very intelligently. Then he remembered himself, and flattened himself on the floor in a full kowtow with palms upturned, pushing his wolf-ears back against his head and tucking his tail between his legs in a show of total submission.
“Please don’t do that,” the Emperor said fretfully from behind the curtain of diamond-encrusted chains that shielded His face from unworthy eyes. “It makes me nervous.”

A phrase Hongjoong’s tenants vaguely remember as they take in the sight in front of them. Bunny hybrid Seonghwa’s head was nestled deep inside the crook of Hongjoong’s neck as they peacefully slept. The same person who despised the idea of having a pet and the bunny that had almost taken an eye out of his rescuer's had seemingly formed a bond of pure evil.
OR a fic where Jongho and Yeosang find a bunny with its leg trapped in a wired fence and gather help from the rest of their housemates to rescue it. Eventually, they’re forced to bring the creature home while tiptoeing around their landlord, Hongjoong, who strictly rejects the idea of pets. (or does he?)

Quiet rustling revealed that the human rose to his feet and Jisung counted the other's steps to ten before he slowly dared to open his eyes again. The gray floor in front of him was empty. What a relief!
The ground was hard, uncomfortable, and so, so cold. Jisung was cold. He pulled his arms between his torso and legs, hiding his hands in the sweater sleeves that were too wide for his frame. One hand moved to pet his tail, but the self-soothing gesture had long lost its effect, no matter how well he avoided the bald and wounded patches all over his tail.
Steps approached, two people this time, and Jisung let out a quiet whimper. Why couldn't they just leave him alone?
One of them gasped, then hurried closer, dropping to his knees. "What happened to you, darling?"
Or: Jisung gets out of an abusive household only to end up in some homeless shelter. The next day, he is advised to go to a place where hybrids can receive help. What he had not expected when he set foot into that place was an offer for a place to stay and seven men who promise him a chance to heal, both physically and mentally.
