Tommy's called Blindspot for a reason. He’s not invisible, as he’s reminded Dream time and time again - people can definitely see him. They just don’t notice. He blends into plain sight, totally diverting all attention like water off of a duck.
Usually, anyway. Orpheus, however, stiffens a little as Tommy draws nearer. He starts glancing around, as if struck by sudden paranoia. Tommy draws up in front of him, staff clenched in one hand, and Orpheus starts turning as if to check behind him.
“What’s that,” Orpheus mutters. “Who’s there-“
Tommy pulls his staff back and slams it into Orpheus’s stomach, hard.
Orpheus stumbles. He wheezes, choking, and then looks up at Tommy and fixes him with a burning stare.
“Who the fuck are you,” Orpheus says, eyes wild and oddly delighted. “Where were you hiding?”

Suspected of betraying the Hero Guild, Apprentice hero Tommy (A.K.A. Blindspot) is put under Security Protocol Catbag: a locked-on noise cancelling mask equipped with truth gas. His mentor, Dream, calls it a necessary teaching tool.
Meanwhile, SBI wants to know why their least favorite loudmouth little Hero has suddenly stopped talking.

Techno didn’t understand the fuss. If the pup wouldn’t eat, and wouldn't bond to any of the adult mers housed in the facility, it would die. That's just nature.

The injured boy glanced away for a moment, lost in thought. His gaze wandered mindlessly through the fields of white buds and green leaves. He scanned his silent judgment throughout Techno’s farm, perhaps he was just searching for any faults in his truth, a hidden trap within his potato fields.
Gradually, a small smirk, undeterred by Techno’s unentertained expression, danced across the blond boy’s features.
“Do you always answer in only three words?” His voice was playful and devious as they escaped through those abnormally sharp fangs of his.
“Perhaps I do.”

Techno didn’t think he was asking for much when all he wished for was a nice and peaceful retirement, but unfortunately it was. All he did was bandage up a dying child he found in the woods and apparently that was all that it took for him to become a magnet for this enduring but destruction addicted vampire teenager, his charismatic yet somewhat deranged vampire brother, and his benevolent albeit nonchalantly murderous vampire father.DISCONTINUED

“My gold.” Techno spoke, thousands of voices echoing in his words. Whispering and chattering. His calloused hand reaching up, dragging along the blood that was dripping from Tommy’s neck. Dripping down and burning away in the flames consuming the roots that held him.
The same hand that had fed him and given him shelter, as involuntary as it had been, was gently placed at the back of his skull. Techno’s thumb pulling across the golden earring that now felt like an anchor dragging him below the surface of a pool of magma.
Wearing Techno’s face, the Blood God grinned at him.
Tommy did not regret punching him.

And claws. Long, almost black fingers tipped with sharp talons, spilling from under green sleeves – fancy ones, with beautiful embroidery, shining like gold in the sun.
The clothes seem more fit for a noble man, rather than a monster.
A monster, staring at something behind Wilbur's shoulder with big, piercing blue eyes.
Tommy, face tucked away against Wilbur's chest, sniffs.
The monster digs his claws further into the branch he's sat on, leaning forward as if to get a better look at something behind Wilbur's back.
'Something', that, apparently, is Tommy.''

Tommy wasn’t sure what he had been anticipating when he broke into Techno’s house. Maybe he was expecting his brother to kill him on sight, lodging a crossbow arrow straight between his eyes. Maybe he was expecting to be dragged back to exile, cursing and screaming the whole way. Mostly, he was just hoping that Techno wouldn't be home. Tommy had a half-baked plan to hide out in the piglin’s basement, squirreling away gapples and supplies until he could figure out something better.
He hadn’t even considered that Techno could be hibernating.
Or: Tommy has just escaped exile. What better place to hide than the house of his hibernating older brother?

Phil’s indignant squawk drifted across the tundra to Wilbur’s ears. He sat up from where he lay sprawled in the snow, swiping the clumps from his hair and glancing at his father.
One of his mother’s crows landed on Wilbur’s shoulder, nipping at his ear. Wilbur cringed away from it with a frown. “Quit it you.” He paused though, when he caught sight of something in the haze of the snowfall.
Far away, gray and hazy, a dark lump lay in the snow. Wilbur squinted, unable to make out any details in the winter flurry.
He stood and trod closer, the crunch of his footfalls too loud in the cold silence. He couldn’t hear his father or Techno anymore, but the warning to stay close had been forgotten in his curiosity.
Another, smaller form came into focus through the haze, hunched over the larger. A cry drifted between the snowflakes and to Wilbur.
Wilbur neared the mysterious shapes and realized it was the form of a dead human curled in the snow. It was on its side and half buried by the snowstorm. Beside it, a young child sobbed, shivering in the cold.

It was like he hit a stone wall, but it was molasses. He couldn’t move, barely even breathing. His eyes were stuck, zeroed in on the cockpit. He could practically see Dream. The man had already flicked the switches and was about to pull back on the wheel. And, Tommy was so close. He was right there. All Dream had to do was look to his right and he would see Tommy.
“Hello there, pup.”

It had not mattered that he was merely eight years old when they sat him upon a throne nearly twice his size and deemed him their new King.
What had mattered in the end was that the young King had led his nation to utter ruin, had stood by and watched as his citizens pounded bloody fists against the stone walls of his castle with pleas for salvation that he could not bring them.
Tommy hadn't expected to open his eyes after feeling the pointed tip of a blade pierce through his chest, bringing an end to the reign of a tyrant. Had accepted his fate the moment the leader of the rebellion entered through those towering wooden doors with the sole purpose of killing a King that had failed his people.
Yet Tommy finds himself waking on the day they placed a jeweled crown upon his head and deemed him their King at the mere age of eight, traveling six year into the past with a burning determination not to be used as a puppet once more. His first step though is winning over the heart of the man that he thought of as family, the very person who pushed a blade through his chest with tears stinging his eyes.

But still; it was almost a shock to stand in the path of the man himself, and briefly meet those infamous blood red eyes. Such a bright ruby red that Tommy personally thought they couldn’t be human. And standing here; waiting for death, he couldn’t help but think the rumors were true.
