Someone was carrying a body. Owen stood, feeling oddly light on his feet, and followed. Somewhere in his mind, he knew what was happening. That was Curt, carrying Owen’s own body.

MI6 saw the potential in this early on, and had coached him on various accents, how to pitch his voice to sound like completely different people, how to imitate other peoples’ speech. His voice was one of his greatest weapons.

This mission was so different. Curt was not used to this. He flirted, sure, but he never expected his partner to flirt back. Really, his default mode was to be as obnoxious as possible so that they didn’t team him up with anyone. Too many complaints meant that he was mostly a lone agent now, with the agency only pairing him with foreign agents when absolutely necessary (like this mission). Normally, he flirted, he was reckless, he’d poke fun at the other person’s country and culture, all in an attempt to get as many complaints about him as possible once the job was done.

Summary
Curt didn’t pull the trigger. He couldn’t bring himself to, not knowing that this was what he’d turned Owen into. Not knowing that he had forced Owen into a position where he needed to kill to survive. It would be so easy to look at that 1000+ kill count and blame it all on the man in front of him, but he couldn’t. He had turned Owen into the “monster” he was now. Or at least, the “monster” he claimed to be.
He couldn’t be beyond redemption, could he? Surely there was something he could do to help him? He couldn’t abandon Owen again. Never again. He had to do something. His hand shook.
“What if…” he started, unsure of how to word his feelings.
Owen raised a brow. He looked exhausted. He looked… hungry? Maybe?
Curt swallowed. He lowered the gun. “What if you drank from me instead?”
Curt offers to let Owen keep him to drink his blood, hoping that Owen would kill less strangers for their blood if he could drink from Curt whenever. Owen, miraculously, agrees.

Curt sat up, startled, and stared at Owen in shock. Owen slowly sat up as well. “Wanna talk about it?” he asked.
“W… what are you… doing here?” Curt slowly asked. Actually, what was he doing here? Where was he? His eyes stung as Owen turned on a lamp, and he blinked to see they were in a small bedroom.
“Do you need water or anything?” Owen asked like it was the easiest thing in the world, while he pulled the blanket closer around his shoulders. The blanket that they were sharing. In the bed that they were sharing.
