    Tom has been following the new transfer student, Harry Evans, with his eyes, with his words, and with his Knights. Yet Harry continues to seem content to have nothing to do with Tom.

    Just before Samhain, Tom gets the chance to follow Harry as he wanders over the grounds and into the Forbidden Forest, and plans to finally get something useful from him. Except, when Tom finds Harry, the situation does not turn out how he predicted.

    Harry is standing in a very particular kind of pollen, and Tom's advantage is quickly turned back on him.

    Tom fumbles his arms out, bracing himself. He tries to focus his now spinning vision and channel a wandless spell, but instead, a wave of magical energy simply crashes aimlessly around the clearing, disturbing more pollen.

    Regrettably, it does not bring Evans to his knees.
