    It didn't hurt often these days.

    Well, maybe Yelena couldn't be sure of that. She couldn't even be sure of what 'hurting' really was, or what 'these days' even really meant. And 'it'... she wasn't sure of either.

    What she did know, as she sat, frowning, on the arm of Kate Bishop's couch, was that her hand ached, and she knew it wasn't supposed to. It was different now, at least it was meant to be, but it was raining, her hand ached, and maybe everything was the same.
