Recognition inhibition was a fascinating piece of magic. That it could protect them from being recognised by anyone, even their families, when their magical personas were known by everyone was nothing if not impressive.
And it made Utena wonder how exactly it worked. Could you use it to make people ignore you? Could you tweak it so people saw someone as an entirely different person?

AKA what happens when ugly flowers don't get properly pruned?
Finished work, and my first fic, too!
Chapter 35 divergence, but this time we're going big - we've got a loooooong story arc all planned out, and once it gets away from the Manga, all bets are off - check those warnings!
Starts in the Manga from Ch 34 onwards, albeit with a lot of "missing" scenes, so spoilers for those not in the know. Footnotes for each chapter to ease things along.
