Summary
All of us have seen Hollow Knight Time-travel fix-it fics. All of us have seen Hollow Knight Isekai fics. I now combine these two with something darker, something I’ll be keeping close to the chest, in the hopes I can make an actually cool reveal.
Jack was not hero material. He was more computer engineer material. So he’s not the best option to throw into the world of Hollow Knight. But he’s the one that fate - or something darker - chose. With nothing but his wits, the few items from his bedside table, and his knowledge of the game, he has no choice but to set on the journey he’s only ever seen through a screen… though it quickly becomes apparent that this isn’t the same story he’s played through. Something else is pulling on the strings…

Summary

Summary
A backstory for one of my favorite characters I’ve made in my Wings of Fire AU. He’s going to be somewhat relevant as an antagonist later. By the end of this, he is going to be three separate kinds of insane: The “singing to yourself” kind of insane, the “murder random people” kind of insane, and the “perform a vivisection on yourself in a world where anesthetics haven’t been invented, or proper surgery for that matter.”

While watching the video where you fall to your death just to get swallowed up by a giant black void, you come to a sobering realisation.
You will never be able to match that level of sheer drama, no matter how long you live. Being murdered in an alleyway was one thing, but this? Talk about kicking a man when he’s down.
Speaking of. It's time to make sure you won't be pulling another disappearing act on Mark. Might be a few steps to it, but...anything for him.

Summary
Five years after Hiccup flees Berk to avoid having to kill the Monstrous Nightmare, Drago Bludvist is knocking down Berk's door. He never expected to see the others again, let alone for them to ask for his help. Only, they didn't know it was him. They knew him as the mysterious dragon rider with the Night Fury and their only hope at saving Berk.
Drago was coming after Berk because of Hiccup, which meant that this war was his responsibility. Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third was about to come back to life in the eyes of everyone in Berk. But now he was stronger, faster, older, taller, more confident, and a great fighter. He could take down Drago Bludvist, it was his father he was worried about. And Astrid Hofferson. The two scariest people on Berk.
