Summary
I dedicate this very short Fix-It oneshot to my online fandom friends whom I was crying with for the past few days. We went through all stages of grief together and I really wish I could hug you all, but since I can't, this fanfic is humble alternative of this hug.
I'm sharing it with everyone who needs comfort, who needs to cope with something delutionally hopeful. I hope this oneshot will heal at least a part of that trauma after The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act.Bookmarked by Friskaether

Summary
While she waits for their coffee she feels a small tug on her pant leg as she’s checking her phone.
A small boy, maybe three or four, she’s not sure is looking up at her. His bottom lip is quivering, his wide blue eyes brimming with tears. Her maternal instincts want to reach out, cup his cheek, or pull him into a hug, just some way to offer him some comfort. To take away the fear in his eyes, but she pauses, at the mark over the boy’s eye. She’s not sure what it is, it could be a burn, it doesn’t look the right shape to be a fresh bruise.
Crouching down so she can be at his eye level with him she pitches her voice low, “Hey sweetie, my name is Athena. Could you tell me yours?”
“Evan,” his voice is so quiet she can barely hear him over the white noise of the mall.
“Ok Evan that’s really good, what about your last name, could you tell me that?”
“Buckley.”
“Well done sweetie, do you know where your parents are?”
“I lost my Bobby.” he reaches forward to fist his hand into the front of her shirt, pressing his body against hers. “Can you help me find him?”
Or
Evan wanders away from Bobby at the mall and gets lost, Athena helps him find his way back to Bobby.

“Are you doing alright?” Eddie asks him with a slight frown and Buck swallows, going back to tying his shoes so he doesn’t have to look at Eddie.
“Of course,” he says simply. “Why wouldn’t I be?”
“I don’t know,” Eddie replies and Buck can feel his eyes on him. “You’ve been quiet lately.”
Buck freezes in his movements for a fraction of a second. He thought that apart from the whole dinner at Bobby’s fiasco he’s been doing a pretty good job at acting like his normal self in front of everyone.
And how has Eddie of all people noticed that something is up with him? It’s not like he pays him any attention anymore.

“Fun?” Buck asked, a little skeptical still.
Eddie’s grin turned sharp as his lips arched into a smirk, a smirk that always managed to make Buck's insides turn liquid and boneless, and his eyebrows bounced high into his hairline.
“Oh yeah,” he said, putting a little more pressure into his fingers as he dragged them along Buck’s collarbone. “I plan on wooing the hell out of you.”

“Hey! Where are you? Shift's about to start.” Eddie’s voice was definitely at the top of the list of sounds Buck loved to hear.
He shoved a hand across his face and felt a laugh bubble over his lips as the panic, soothed by Eddie’s voice, turned into something a little closer to disbelief.
“So,” Buck drew out as he turned to stare at his door handle. “I need your help.”
Buck explained the situation in as much detail as he could, pushing the stupid door handle on his kitchen table with his fingers, and did a pretty good job at only being mildly offended when Eddie started laughing so hard that a wheeze had crept into the sound.
aka Buck gets locked in his apartment and Eddie stumbles his way through a proposal of sorts.

Eddie’s knuckles ached from how tightly he was grasping onto Buck’s thigh. He was probably clawing bruises into his skin but it didn’t matter. Buck’s hands were just as tight around Eddie’s wrist keeping him there. Neither of them seemed willing to let go and it would take more than a threat of a bullet for Eddie to be the first.
Buck and Eddie's date night takes a turn for the worse.

He woke up with a groan, a sizzle of pain racing up his spine as he moved. God, his ass fucking throbbed.
“I think you broke me,” Buck mumbled into the pillow his face was smushed into.
Eddie laughed from where he sat beside Buck, scrolling on his phone as he enjoyed the peaceful morning and waited for Buck to wake up. He didn’t look even remotely sorry, a smug grin on his lips.
Or, Buck challenges Eddie and Eddie takes said challenge. It causes their relationship to be revealed in a rather unique way.
