There was a lot one could say about the Vinsmokes:

The corruption. The fall from glory. The insistent crusade in science and military powerhouse that one Judge Vinsmoke was famous for, but the biggest was the underlining secrets.

Secrets that were like a miasma that crept out of the floating country. Each and every one of the royal family had a secret, but the biggest one of all was how Sanji, the third of the quadruplets, the ultimate failure of Judge’s latest experiment, wasn’t the only one who was technically a failure.

In which all the Vinsmoke brothers have emotions, and while enhanced, want to protect their third.

What if Sanji's siblings weren't brainwashed by Judge and took Sanji's side?
What if, as children, they loved their mother and believed her when she said their father was lying to them?
What if they banded together against Judge instead of against Sanji?

    Summary

"The house is beautiful. It’ll need a little bit of work, but it has a lot of character.” Xie Lian accepted the keys when she offered them, turning the ring thoughtfully between his fingers. “I still don’t know why the previous owner abandoned it.”

The realtor’s smile faltered almost imperceptibly. She shifted her weight and glanced toward the house before hesitantly looking back at him. “The house has been on the market for years,” she said carefully. “I couldn’t tell you why the last owner left, but it appears the house has a high turnover rate.” Her fingers tightened slightly around the clipboard tucked against her side. “Once someone moves in, they don’t stay for very long.”

OR: On the verge of losing his apartment, Xie Lian jumps at the opportunity to purchase a beautiful old Victorian home for a fraction of what it’s worth. After a series of strange occurrences, Xie Lian begins researching the property's history. He quickly discovers that one name keeps appearing: Hua Cheng. An eighteen-year-old young man who died in the house nearly a century ago.

    Summary

"You were expected at breakfast twenty minutes ago."

"I slept in," Xie Lian began to explain.

His body went still, attempting his straightest face as calloused fingers brushed against his side beneath the blankets. His eyes darted to the inconspicuous pile of pillows on the bed beside him, ensuring no movement could be perceived from the outside. Still, the fingers kept moving against Xie Lian's skin, tickling him until he could no longer hold back his giggle. Xie Lian's gaze moved to Yin Yu, noting the quizzical quirk of his brow. Swiftly, Xie Lian reached below the blankets, grabbing the offending hand by the wrist and stilling its movements.

    Summary

Xie Lian smiled politely, looking down at the computer screen in front of him. Before even glancing at the next customer, he began to say the practiced greeting. "Good morning. How can I help you today?"

Upon seeing the customer's face, Xie Lian's stomach sank. Because he didn't see a face at all. The person in front of him wore a dark hood, and their face was obscured by an eerie white smiling mask. It was obvious what was happening. A person would only walk into a bank dressed like that for one reason.

"I apologise for the disturbance," the stranger said, his voice surprisingly friendly and warm. "I need you to calmly collect as much money as you can and bring it to me without making a scene."

    Summary

Xie Lian stopped into his tracks, watching his beloved with silent awe and adoration. Hua Cheng took it upon himself to cook for them now that Xie Lian was grappling with yet another round of exams, making sure that their meals were packed with nutrients that would help him focus and get through the stressful time.

He couldn’t fall even more in love with him, could he?

Feeling Xie Lian’s eyes on his back, Hua Cheng looked over his shoulder. As soon as their eyes met, he smiled sweetly at him, gesturing towards the table. “Take a seat, gege. Dinner’s ready.”
