Summary
Felix never asked to get dragged into a war.
Unfortunately, one spectacularly bad job later, he ends up captured by none other than Hwang Hyunjin, Seoul’s Godfather, professional control freak, and walking red flag in designer clothing, which leaves Felix with exactly zero safe exits and a rapidly growing list of people who want him dead.
Being forced into Hyunjin’s world means hidden weapons, blood-soaked loyalty, and enemies who don’t bother playing fair.
It also means dealing with the very inconvenient problem of the man he’s supposed to hate looking at him like he already belongs to him.
What starts as survival turns into something much worse: trust, longing, and a love reckless enough to burn the entire city down rather than risk losing the other.
They were never supposed to fall in love. They did anyway, knowing it would cost them everything.
aka: one failed heist, one terrifyingly devoted crime lord, and Felix is making increasingly questionable life choices.

Felix n’a jamais demandé à se retrouver au milieu d’une guerre.
Une mission spectaculairement ratée plus tard, le voilà capturé par nul autre que Hwang Hyunjin, le Parrain de Séoul, maniaque du contrôle à plein temps et signal d’alarme ambulant en vêtements de designer, ce qui lui laisse exactement zéro porte de sortie et une liste de personnes qui veulent sa mort en pleine expansion.
Être traîné dans le monde de Hyunjin, c’est découvrir des armes cachées, une loyauté trempée dans le sang et des ennemis qui ne jouent jamais loyalement.
C’est aussi devoir affronter un détail franchement gênant : l’homme qu’il est censé haïr le regarde déjà comme si Felix lui appartenait.
Ce qui commence comme de la survie devient bien pire, de la confiance, du manque et un amour assez imprudent pour brûler la ville entière plutôt que de risquer de perdre l’autre.
Ils n’étaient jamais censés tomber amoureux. Ils l’ont fait quand même, en sachant que cela leur coûterait tout.
aka : un braquage raté, un parrain du crime terriblement dévoué… et Felix qui enchaîne des décisions de vie de plus en plus douteuses.
