Summary
The rumour that Lord Voldemort is a Vampire is just that. A rumour, a ruse. An elaborate lie to distract from the fact that Voldemort's mysterious red-eyed and pale family members that popped up in public after the war are Horcruxes. Harry is sure of this.
Except, when he and Luna go on a reconnaisance mission to figure out more information about the Horcruxes and where they keep their potential vessels, Harry figures out that maybe he should have listened to the warnings more closely.

The advice is expertly ignored time and time again as he stares at a wonderful, defenseless human looking up at him with abyss-dark eyes.

On the 2nd of May 1998, Britain was freed from its tyrant. Dozens fell in the fight for equality, justice and freedom. Dozens died in vain. For when technology triumphs over magic, Muggles attempt to wipe mages out, exactly as the Dark Lord had foretold.
On the 4th of March 2007, Magical Britain ceases to exist.Desperate to undo the damage, Harry travels back in time to prevent Voldemort's demise.
Only, things don't quite work out as intended, as he ends up being reborn in a world not entirely like his own with a tattoo of a red eye on the back of his hand.

Summary
After surviving the Triwizard Tournament there is nothing that can destroy Harry, or so he thought. When a stranger arrives during summer break and forces Harry to change schools with a magical contract, he is proven otherwise.
Being the Chosen One sworn to bring back peace, his world view unwillingly shatters when his new teachings prove to be different from the evil ways he'd imagined.
If that would have been the only thing to turn his world upside down, maybe he would have managed. Yet Harry can’t have a peaceful school year, Voldemort as always invading his life not only with lingering memories of the graveyard but also by upturning the political game.

Still drowning his sorrows years after cutting ties to the magical world, Harry Potter meets a handsome stranger at his regular bar who asks one too many prying questions about the past. Talks of vengeance and violence always hit a tad too close to home as the stranger invades every aspect of his life with shocking speed.

The stranger has arranged himself comfortably on the faux-leather sofa, hands draped across the backrest and one foot placed on the smudged glass coffee table in front of them as if he owns the place. The lights above highlight meticulously groomed black hair, a few slick strands falling effortlessly in place.Oh no. Harry is far more attracted than he should be to someone with a past as violent as his own.
It takes a few more sips before Harry finds his tongue again. ‘’Sshhooo…’’ he slurs, then coughs. ‘’So what’s your plan then? Hangin’ out here till this guy arrives and stab ‘im?’’
‘’That was one option,’’ the stranger replies, playing around with an unlit cigarette. Harry follows the movement with rapture. ‘’But I’ve been told multiple times that there are things far worse than simply ending it. I suppose I’ll take him up on those words.’’
