Day 3 of Rabbotfest2026. You Came, You called.
Jack thought everything was good. He thought they could withstand anything. They made it passed Robby's seven-week mark. Everything should be peaches and rainbows, right. Right? What if Robby wasn't the problem? What if it was Jack?

Summary
“Any surprises for us?”
“They wouldn’t be surprises if I just went and told you, would they?” Robby half-laughed, his hand lightly patting his back. Which was the same thing Dana did just moments before, but also somehow not the same at all. Jack relaxed into it, the touch familiar and welcoming, if only fleeting.
Except that it wasn’t fleeting, not this time. Robby’s hand stilled but remained on his back, the tips of his fingers just barely grazing the skin above his collar. Jack sent him a surprised look but obviously said nothing, choosing to relish in the touch for as long as he was allowed.

Summary
Robby closed the door to the patient room he was just in to hear a commotion incoming to central. A flurry of barked orders, fast movements, camo…and silver hair with the occasional flash of auburn patches.
Jack. Oh god, it’s Jack.
He wasn’t supposed to be here today.
Fuck, fuck.

"You know you’re always gonna be a kid to me, Robinavitch,”
Dana smiles, slightly, the way she used to when he was a med student and sneaking in late with home-made bread as a bribe to keep her silence.
“You’re the glue of this place, Dana." he says, and means it with all his heart.

Summary
Abbot had taken these stairs up to the roof more times than he could count on one hand—sometimes slowly, counting out each individual step, all seventy-three of them.
He had never taken them this fast.
Lungs burning, chest heaving, mind racing, the only thing Jack can do is hope he’s not too late. He can’t be too late.

How I imagine the season 2 finale might go, because we all know Robby is not making it to sabbatical.
