Jack had a mental list of things Robby never talked about even though it impacted every part of his existence. The PTSD. Adamson. His dad. Being a sub. Robby had a list of things he wouldn’t talk about and that was fine. Jack was fine with it. It was the price of being Robby’s best friend, and normally he’d let it go. But this?
Jack eyed Robby, leaning over central. Nobody clocked anything wrong. The wrist strap that was cutting off his circulation. The slightly antsy eyes flicking around the room.

Jack wasn’t at all surprised to see Robby on his stoop after his long shift. The man was hunched over, snoring softly. Jack sighed, pulling the truck into the drive way, and turned the engine off. Robby had a spare key was the hell of it. He knew where the hidden key was too.
Jack got out of the truck slowly, grimacing as he placed even weight on his leg.

For some reason, everyone has a terrible first impression of Ilya Rozanov. Many have an outlandish hatred of him, distrust him, or think he's a terrible fit for Shane Hollander in one way or another. They see him as the villain in Shane's love story, regardless of Shane's many objections to the contrary.
Unfortunately for them, they couldn't be more wrong about Ilya, and each and every one of them is going to slowly come to realize what a good man he is, firsthand, as Ilya worms his way into their hearts and minds.
Or, the 5 times where the cast of Game Changers finally realized Ilya Rozanov was a great man, and the 1 time Ilya Rozanov finally got the first impression he deserved.

Summary
The sound of a wooden spoon hitting metal rings out. He flinches. “Why, Frank? Why couldn’t you have asked for help? You didn’t the first time, and I thought you learned your lesson.”
He nearly laughs. Something escapes his mouth that sounds more like a frustrated whine than he’d care to admit. “No, I learned that you handle my mistakes by kicking me out to deal with them, and my job is the only thing I have.” He tugs on his hair just to get his hands off the counter. “I barely have that anymore.”
Though he can’t seem to comment on anything else, Robby is firm to say, “This isn’t your mistake.”
Four days a divorced man and Frank Langdon is sleeping in his car. Robby has something to do about this, even if he's bad at saying it.
