Summary
He turns into a rampaging wolf on the full moon, he feasts on the blood of the living, could I make it any more obvious?
Or, in which Martin had been enjoying his anonymous life in the IT department of world famous supernatural tabloid The Magnus Institute where no one cared that he has to leave early on the nights of the full moon, but is involuntarily transferred to the graveyard shift in the archive, which he really should have guessed by the name is run by a stuffy vampire who wants absolutely none of any of this whatsoever. Shenanigans ensue.
At least their weapons of office warfare had been reduced to garlic knots and dog whistles instead of silver bullets and wooden stakes.

Summary
The Archivist keeps telling him there is nothing left of Jon inside of it, but Martin never believed that. Not really. And if it truly wants to convince him, it really should come up with an original story or two instead of the derivative tripe it keeps forcing him to endure. It only makes it easier to find the pieces of Jon left behind, anyway.
Martin is tired of unhappy endings, and only he seems to understand that fate is only a story itself. It can be rewritten, reborn, regrown as well.

Summary
Once upon a time, high atop a lonely, misty cliffside beside the sea, sat a haunted house…
The year is 1863 and ghosts are all the rage, but Head Butler Jonathan Sims of Magnus Manor does not believe in spiritualism, or ghost stories, or any of that trite hocus pocus. Until, that is, he finds himself inextricably tied up in the mysterious tale of Martin, the last lonely spirit remaining there. Though Jon, too, is facing the final curtain of mortal life, he will do whatever it takes to unravel the secrets of the house and free them both from its tethers before his own time runs out.

Written for the "What the Tapes Didn't Catch" Zine on Tumblr!
“Christ, Jon! The point is you’re standing here staring down the fruit like it’s just come to life and handed you a B at being Head Archivist! God forbid I try to make a joke!” Martin blustered, cheeks burning indignantly.
“Oh…” Jon said bluntly, brows knitted, “Right. I see. Yes. I was just um… thinking about grapes.”
“Grapes…” Martin repeated, exasperated.
“Yes. Whether the red sort or the green sort is better.”
“Ah… naturally,” Martin said sagely, as if anything about that response made any kind of sense, “Definitely one of the more pressing mysteries of the universe on our dockets to solve.”

Summary
Later they would cozy up and get warm with tea and treats at the market, then Martin would insist upon riding the observation wheel, at the top of which against a starry winter sky he would bestow upon Jon the gift he had been planning for months. It was a simple thing. Small, humble, mayhap a bit musty and foxed at the edges, but it was perfect and perfectly them. He would open it, his endlessly deep, dark eyes would light up with the crystal fires of the universe, and he would smile just for him. If he got lucky, dare he even hope, maybe Jon might even slip his hand into his and cuddle up close against his side against the chill on the ride back down to earth while the snow danced magically in the air around them. Then, Tim happened.
Everything beautiful and delicate about Martin’s lovingly cultivated snowflake fantasy shattered with his jocular proclamation ringing through the bullpen.
“Lads, prepare yourselves! We are going to KARAOKE tonight!”
