Summary
“Bucky?”
“Chris, buddy, is everything okay?” He’s already putting on his jacket, his phone nudged between his ear and shoulder.
“No,” Chris sniffles on the other side of the line. “Can you come, please?”
“Christopher, open this door.” He hears Ana say harshly but the sound is muffled.
“No! You’re mean and I don’t like you!” Chris yells at her. “Bucky, please come. I don’t want to stay with her.”--
When Christopher asks Buck for help when he's supposed to stay with Ana for the night, Eddie has to think about what he really wants to do with his romantic life.

Summary
“You two are already attached at the hip,” Hen comments, trying to make light of the situation.
“Well, we’re not attached at the hip in the way I want,” Eddie says without any control and snaps his mouth shut with horror.
All of the sudden, Eddie finds the ceiling of the ambulance very interesting. Focus on it on the silence that follows.
“You could blame it on the head injury,” Chim offers.

Eddie has a concussion. Suddenly he can't lie.
It would be fine if he wasn't trying his best to not confess his undying love for Buck. -

Summary
The guy cradles Christopher as gently as Eddie thinks anyone could, and says, “What’s his name?”
“Christopher,” Eddie says, around a lump that’s suddenly appeared in his throat. He turns away, then, ducks down to dig through his backpack so that he won’t do something insane and embarrassing like snatch his baby back immediately after handing him over.
Eddie hears the guy say, “Hi, Christopher. I’m Buck. I like your outfit. Dinosaurs are very cool.”

Summary
Buck grinned as he led Christopher to the bus, where a harried looking woman with a clipboard took a glance at Chris before ticking off a box on her paperwork. Her attention then redirected to Buck. "Mr. Diaz? I don't think we've met. I'm Christopher's Art teacher."
"Mrs. Conrad." Buck pointed at her knowingly. "I'm a fan. Your homework assignments are my favorite. Mostly because I can do them."
She laughed. "Glad to hear it. But I didn't think we'd be seeing you. Chris mentioned his dad would be at work today."
"Oh, that's—"
"Daddy is working," Christopher informed her. "This is Buck. He's my other dad."
Or, Christopher refers to Buck as his dad for the first time, and Buck has feelings.

Summary
Buck’s not even sure when it started. He thinks it started when Chris stole his phone while he was making pancakes for the billionth time. Chris asked him to teach him how to make vegan pancakes, since Buck was vegan. Chris claimed he was recording it so he could show his dad later, so maybe Eddie could make the pancakes instead when Buck wasn’t available. Buck had bought the line, hook, line, and sinker.
