   Summary

   “I’m sorry?”

   Magic rushed to his own cheekbones as he repeated, “Could you teach me how to kiss?” His soul beat faster in his chest.

   Epic’s mouth opened and closed as Cross watched in real time as the gears shifted in his mind, replaying and processing his inquiry and confirming as his eyelights darted over his face that he was serious. It was rare to catch Epic off-guard, his friend usually unflappable and down for anything that was all in good fun.

   Epic’s startled blush lightened as his flustered expression settled into something more contemplative. Bemused, he asked, “Why, uh, why?”
