Summary
Danny Fenton starts a new life in Gotham but ghosts keep following him, forcing him to return as Phantom to try and keep them in control. The Bats are trying to hunt down the new meta due to the destruction he causes. In his civilian life, Danny finds himself being questioned about his background and knowledge of technology when he wins a full ride scholarship and fellowship from Wayne Enterprises. Both sides of his life ends crumbling before him.

Those dreams suddenly came a little more into focus, when his idiot of a pimp accidentally tried to rent him to Bruce Wayne. Poor bastard could have never guessed he was the Batman himself. Heck, not even Jason figured that out, at first. And Batman had practically adopted him.

“You don’t have to go if you don’t want to,” Bruce reminds the child sitting next to him gently. The limo turns a corner, and Dick exaggeratedly throws himself into Bruce’s side, giggling. Since they’ve been playing this game the entire drive to the gala, Bruce knows his role is to let out a patented sigh and hoist Dick back into a sitting position, trying to look stern and failing.
“I wanted to come, B. Besides, Alf said it was my job to make sure you didn’t leave after 10 minutes.”
