Summary
If Hikaru is a monster to the letter, then Yoshiki is a monster by nature.
This selfishness, this repulsiveness that he shamefully hides under a veneer of aloofness, is nothing but what he truly is at his core. For the longest time, he has made his absolute best effort to pretend otherwise, to turn his face from the truth, to portray himself as anything but what he truly is.
But by the same metric that Hikaru isn’t the same friend he spent his whole childhood with, Yoshiki is nothing but the culmination of everything he tries to conceal, and regardless of how much he tries to deny it, he knows himself better than anyone.
And if he can believe that there’s salvation for a monster like Hikaru , then surely there must be salvation, too, for a monster like Yoshiki.
Or: TSHD/JJK Crossover - Nobara and Megumi are sent to Kubitachi to exorcise a Curse and cross paths with Hikaru and Yoshiki.

Jonathan Kent is not happy with his son's decision to stay home and go to Kansas State in the fall when he believes Clark should go to Met U, insisting that he can take care of the farm just fine without Clark. He tells Clark to go find a summer job to prove just how self-sufficient the farm is.
Clark needs a summer job. Lex is all too happy to provide one.

Summary
"Clark." Lex drawled, breaking the silence. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"
The way Lex said it, so sarcastic and cold and insincere, made Clark freeze and, for the first time, actually start to rethink this ridiculous plan of his. The contrast of the way he said those few words now versus how he had said them a hundred times before, as if Clark were a treasure and the genius, rich, billionaire was in awe of being in his presence (the presence of a simple farm boy redneck high schooler) gnawed at Clark's heart.
"I know we've grown apart. I know you hate me for lying to you. I know you know I resent you for lying right back." Clark started. He paused, waiting for Lex to cut in with a hasty correction, ("I would never lie to you, Clark.") but when nothing came, and Lex was just staring at him with mild interest and his head propped up on his hand, Clark felt a bubble of guilt spawn in his gut for immediately assuming Lex would combat him. "But I'm here to tell you the truth. I'm here to make it right."
OR
Clark tells Lex everything, starting with his secret alien biology and ending with his hopeless crush on him.

Something about the city Mark found himself in was off. Stranger than the architecture, than no one calling him Invincible. Mark bit his lip, looking for something useful like a newspaper with the date, the name of the city or any clue for what he thought might have happened.
Don't jump to the worst case scenario. It could just be a fluke. No one expects to see Invincible walking around with a purple baby, so they see me and assume it’s somebody else. Chill… chill…

Lex snatches the phone and glowers at the paused video with a very different, technically familiar man hunched with their nose in their screen behind White in the same place as the newspaper photo. “That is Clark Kent.”
“Yes, sir,” the CO says, annoyingly hesitant, “I-I mean, he looks a little different in this one, sure –”
“A little?” Lex snaps, then taps a knuckle at the paper on the desk. “Are you fucking blind?”
The CO rolls her lips between her teeth.
Lex growls under his breath and minimizes the browser, bringing up the first social media site that comes up on autocomplete. He searches Clark Kent, taps on the ‘Reporter :)’ result and scowls when he sees it gets updated about once a millennium. It is, also, that same face from the press conference, not the one in the paper. He scrolls, and scrolls, and–
Wait. That’s what it is – it’s all videos. He doesn’t see a single still photo in the lot.
