Summary
When amnesiac Dick Grayson ran away to Blüdhaven, he had hoped that his family would leave him alone and he's done a pretty good job of rejecting them, even changing his name. That is until Jason Todd shows up, the brother he hasn't met yet, who stubbornly refuses to go away. He offers Dick protection from the enemies he can't remember, nothing more, nothing less. And when his memories start to trickle back, Dick is thrown out by the emotions and glimpses of his past, made worse when one of those enemies gets too close and his family get closer.

Summary
It was 2023 in boring Hawkins, Indiana, and Steve Harrington didn't know what he was doing with his life. Home from college with a barely passing GPA, recently dumped, and drunkenly careening down a dark country road to the tune of his own misery, Steve was aware that he might be depressed. Therapy would've been the sane solution. But before he could turn around and make that choice, a glowing red hole cracked open in the middle of the road, and he was sent flying through time and space.
It was also 1985 in boring Hawkins, Indiana, and Eddie Munson had a five step plan on how to fix his life. First, graduate high school. Second, provide a kickass D&D campaign for the nosy little freshman that joined Hellfire. And finally, write more music and go on tour with his band. Okay, three step plan. Absolutely nothing about his plan-in-progress included stumbling across the hottest man he'd ever seen stranded on the side of the road. Or the glowing red portal to hell parked next to him.

“My relationship isn’t a mistake, and it isn’t ‘kind of’ fucked,” Dick informs Jason. He moves ever-so-slightly away from Jason, leaning closer into the open air beneath them. They’re about twenty storeys up, maybe more.
Jason is quiet for a moment. Dick imagines his face beneath the helmet—he hates it when people disagree with him. His face becomes flushed, and his jaw gets set in a certain way that’s very reminiscent of Bruce. They never want to admit how similar they are.
Jason says, “I never said anything about it being a mistake.”
(Dick gets into a relationship with someone older than Bruce. For some reason, everyone has an opinion about it.)

Summary
Dick’s luck had finally run out. He knew Bruce would kill him if he found out, it’s not like he meant to get stabbed right before the big Wayne Foundation Spring Gala. He’d just wanted a few hours of Nightwing-time to clear his head, which he honestly deserved if he was going to the gala. Besides, the Wayne clan had an image to maintain, so he would go. Anyway, it was always fun to see Brucie make an appearance, though it may be a little less enjoyable with a stab wound.

Dick gets stabbed on patrol right before a gala, decides it's no big deal, and goes anyway. This may not have been the best plan.
