Summary
During the fight at Capital City, Wemmbu gets a concussion.
Wemmbu was running low on rockets. That was what forced him to the ground long enough that Flame got a minecart hit in. It hit his wings the hardest, tearing holes in the membrane of the elytra.
The worst part being that when it was equipped, the wings were a part of him, like a second pair of limbs. So he could feel them ripping apart. He screamed.

Every player carrying words they never thought they would say, words they wished they could have said, and thoughts they wished they could outrun.
Somewhere, beneath the noise of marching footsteps and distant cheers of celebration, something had already begun to slip away.
Thus, leaving only the hollow realization that every blazing fire reaches its inevitable end of turning into mere cinders, lost in the ebb and flow of time.

Despite being an infamous villain, he had never once been sighted in public.
So why did he receive a letter addressed to ‘Flicker’ on his front doorstep?
OR
Branzy is a faceless villain born with the ability to see the odds of something and can change the chances of something succeeding or not, making his traps very effective. Clownpierce discovers this and wants to abuse that.

They had also ultimately decided that a new villain popping up wouldn’t be the best idea, especially with the Law’s recent crackdown on villainy. Instead, Wemmbu would follow in his best friend's shoes ad become a vigilante.
He didn’t know the first thing that they did besides the couple of tidbits Egg had drilled into his mind an hour before. He couldn’t kill, couldn’t injure too severely, had to focus on helping others, and so on; Wemmbu stopped paying attention after the third miniature lecture about his tendency to fight before thinking, basically summing the entire list up as ‘No fun allowed’. Honestly, he would just improv the whole schtick and hope it was convincing.
He took one last look in the mirror before heading out. He looked nothing like himself, nothing like Gambit.
It was perfect.

Wemmbu has never thought of romance as more of a childish selfish fantasy, especially in a place like this, where chaos and bloodshed ruled with an iron fist.
Now as he sits right next to Flamefrags, his long-time enemy/rival, planning a marriage he wants no part in. His marriage - a small part of Wemmbu's mind reminds him. Isn't that a strange thought? Wemmbu, the terrorist, is getting married.
The universe has some sick sense of humor.
His eyes flicker lazily around the room, in his hands, the details of their marriage contract. Lettuce is standing in the other side of the desk, looking incredibly smug. Wemmbu feels his blood boiling, wishing for a second that he was powerful enough to wipe that grin off the other man's face. Instead, Wemmbu's eyes flicker to their rival, at least, Flame looks as uncomfortable as Wemmbu. It's a poor consolation prize but is better than nothing.
Or, an AU where instead of execution, Lettuce uses an unconventional method to have the two strongest player under his control.
(Lost cause duo or Imperial fire duo is not romantic here, I swear)

Eggchan froze. His heart skipped a beat, and he blinked. In front of him was no longer a void, but the eyes of someone who shouldn't exist here.
He was no longer a faint shadow standing behind Parrot. Wifies stood there, manifested so clearly that Eggchan could see strands of translucent brown hair fluttering in the wind, a wind only the dead can feel.
Eggchan took more time than usual to react; he averted his eyes, trying to cling to the last remnants of silence.
"Man, you've been looking at me for over five seconds." Wifies chuckled, catching him in the act. Usually, Eggchan only stole curious glances for a second or two, but this time, his shock had betrayed him.
