Một ngày nọ, cậu vô tình thấy hai đứa trẻ bán yêu sắp bị dân làng hoả thiêu để tế thần nên đã đứng ra bảo lãnh chúng. Kể từ đó, phù thủy tóc hồng đã có thêm hai cái đuôi nhỏ là Gojou Satoru và Getou Suguru.
Thời gian thấm thoát trôi qua, trước việc hai đứa trẻ ngày nào đã trưởng thành, Itadori Yuuji đối mặt với việc lựa chọn tiếp tục cùng đồng hành với nhau hay để hai người trở về thế giới của họ. Cậu sẽ không phải đau đầu với chuyện này như vậy, nếu như Satoru và Suguru không đồng loạt bày tỏ rằng họ đều đem lòng yêu ân nhân của mình. Yuuji sợ rằng tình cảm đó đều do bị lời nguyền của cậu chi phối. Nên cậu đã dứt khoát tổ chức tiệc chia tay để chính thức đặt dấu chấm hết cho câu chuyện của họ.
