Summary
Diavolo comes to kill Trish earlier in the timeline and Buccelatti's team finds themselves on the run from a murderous mafia boss and his hunting dogs. Somewhere along the way they encounter Risotto and La Squadra and realize that both teams are now aiming to overthrow the boss-one to protect Trish and one to enact vengeance.
A tentative alliance is formed and the story plays out differently.

It’s April, that unlucky month, and the cool of winter is just beginning to give way, the warm breezes of spring made warmer by the burning wreck of Giorno’s Ferrari. All of Giorno’s vehicles have a short lifespan, but this one lasted longer than most; it survived weeks of Giorno’s driving- months, even- only to be laid low by a car bomb. That’s just how it is, Mista supposes. The car’s funeral pyre reminds him vaguely of a bonfire, and he wishes he had a marshmallow to toast.

What follows is a long, painful stretch of silence. The plastic grows hot in Josuke's sweaty hands, and he feels his lip starting to split between his teeth, iron blooming across his tongue just like the regret in his gut.
“...Good grief,” Jotaro's staticky voice replies after far too much time. “I thought you were in danger.”
Crazy Diamond can't ask for it. Josuke doesn’t want to admit it. And, of course, Okuyasu and The Hand are the cause of everything, not that either of them know that. It might take a miracle to get them together... or maybe a new Stand user will do just as well.
