If Apollo can admit one thing about himself, it's that he's cautious. It takes him years to trust anyone, to learn that they are worthy of his vulnerability, of being in his life. But trust isn't always the same as love: that much is obvious by the things Apollo carries with him every day: a Mr. Hat keychain, a good luck charm, a worn Khurainese wallet.
If Klavier has learnt one thing about himself, it's that he loves too freely. He gives himself away to anyone who asks, even when they're not worthy of his vulnerability, of being in his life. He knows he's dripping with love by the things he carries with him everywhere: his guitar shaped key, shade #089 of his favorite lipstick, a bag of Snackoos.
There's a lot to learn from the things that someone carries with them: and there's something to be said about the Walkman Apollo carries, and the dog-eared manga Klavier carries. There's a dozen words about love floating around them: if only Apollo or Klavier would allow themselves to see them.
