‘’But Jackie, they want,’’ Hayden starts but closes his mouth when Jackie shoots another pointed look. ‘’Fine. Fine. This is fine. I’ll just, what? Just take the phone and call Rozanov…’’
‘’ILYA!’’ The girls shout again through closed doors; Jackie is trying really hard not to laugh in his face right now. Hayden pinches the bridge of his nose and sighs.
‘’Ilya. I can’t just call him Jacks.’’
‘’Why not? He wouldn’t mind.’’
‘’And how on earth do you know that?’’ Hayden asks desperately.
‘’Because he’s Ilya,’’ she says shrugging her shoulders the best she can since she is still holding Amber and Arthur.
‘’You say that like it means something. That’s Roza…’’ He looks at the door again then corrects himself. ‘’Ilya.’’
‘’Exactly,’’ Jackie says walking away from him.
‘’I don’t even know what that means.’’
‘’I know you don’t. But maybe it’s time for you to find out.’’
