Summary
Leona Soljurn has been the best jazz drummer at Targon School of the Arts for years, a pillar of light for others to be inspired by and strive towards. Her energy and joy towards her instrument and the love she has for her music drew the cold and steely pianist Diana Lunaren into the world of jazz. Diana hasn't been able to take her eyes off Leona for years of their time at Targon, but her own walls weren't something she could break on her own. Leona felt drawn to help Diana break open her classical-focused habits and truly experience the world she loved, but in her enthusiasm she seemed to push Diana away.
It's now audition day for prospective grad students at Piltover Music Conservatory, and Leona can't stop thinking about how she pushed Diana away. She wants so desperately to correct her mistakes, but can't bring herself to say anything to the woman that constantly occupies her mind. Working through her failures has always been a challenge, but when the subject of her failures bumps into her in the halls of the Conservatory & she is all but ordered to try again, she realises she may be getting herself into something bigger than she can handle.Bookmarked by HappySprite23

Summary

Especially after meeting Sister Diana, who is intense, beautiful, and sharp as a sword. They both have reasons to need religious life. Affectionate feelings for one another could ruin everything.

The only living being aboard a Perdition starfighter is its Adjutant Engineer, a rigorously trained specialist who maintains the systems and ensures their efficient operation.
Or at least, that’s what the propaganda says.
Hana believed it at first. It’s what kept her going through the shock of Post Augmentation Trauma Syndrome. It’s what kept her disciplined, kept her focus honed through years of medical school.

The front door swung open, smashing into her face. She staggered back, stumbling down a few steps. A tall, broad-shouldered woman stood in front of her, almost taking up the entire doorway. Black hair braided down one shoulder, baseball hat perched atop her head. A light jacket hanging unzipped off her muscular frame.
“Hey. I’m Shyvana. I’ll be here with you for the next week or something like that.”
