“Just when I thought… that you couldn’t possibly hurt me more,” Yang emits a bitter laugh, shaking her head in disappointment. A sharp grin forms, like a beast baring fangs at their target. “You always surprise me, mom.”
Yang doesn’t know why she still expects better from her. Why she hopes that Raven will turn her actions around one day and help them (and stay instead of constantly leaving). Why she even wants that to happen despite everything that Raven has done to her, to them, to her family.
