Summary
Harold had never shot anyone before. But he could think of worse causes to get blood on his hands in aid of.
And now, apparently, on his sheets too.
“Both bullets are still perfectly intact, which is a bonus,” Harold mumbled to himself as he peered at the wounds. “Should make them easier to remove.”
John’s eyes had fallen closed, but at that comment they opened again, with a level of alarm Harold didn’t especially appreciate. “Hang on, you’re going to do this yourself?”
“Well, yes, Mr Reese, had that not occurred to you when I hadn’t taken you to a medical facility?” Harold shot back, raising an eyebrow before slipping away from his side to go and find the stash of medical supplies he had acquired since John had joined him in his endeavours.
“Have you ever removed a bullet from someone before?” John's voice was the same calm tone he always used, and Harold just couldn’t fathom how a man gradually losing consciousness was so relaxed. But then he supposed this was just a regular day for Mr Reese in his profession.
“No, but there’s a first time for everything, isn’t there?”
John is injured in the field. Harold wants to deal with it himself this time.

During the summer of '85, the kids discover that Will is still connected to the Mind Flayer. At the same time, Billy starts acting weird and Max is unsure if she is safe at home. Nancy and Jonathan discover the nasty truth about the Mind Flayer and nearly meet their end. After an argument with Mike, Will goes missing again as he gets stuck with Robin, Steve, and Dustin in a secret Russian base below Starcourt Mall. Having upset both Will and El, Mike tries asking Lucas for help to win them back. As El spies on Billy, she realizes something is seriously wrong. The kids, Jonathan, Nancy and Joyce work to figure out where Will and Dustin are and how it all ties to the upside down.

Summary
Billy Hargrove hit Mike just a little bit harder, Max woke up just a little bit later and Mike Wheeler had always had shitty luck. He gets drugged, hauled to Russia and jabbed with so many needles that he doesn’t know where he began and the needles ended.
But it’s not so bad (He’s lying, it fucking sucks) at least he has the boy in the bed next to his, and relatively regular mealtimes and-
Yeah, he's having trouble coming up with anything positive.
He just wants to go home, but the doctor and this strange new thing in his chest aren’t going to let him. That’s fine, he’ll just have to get himself out.
