    The conversations in the classroom quiet down to occasional soft whispers as he draws closer. Snowflake doesn’t seem to notice, considering how he’s still got his head buried in his arms, staring absentmindedly at the table.

    “Hey!” he semi-barks, trying to get the transfer’s attention.

    The teenager’s head snaps up. Light-blue eyes glance over, and Sukuna’s mind grinds to a halt.

    Oh.

    Instead of the usual look of unease, fear or dislike he’s met with daily, perhaps the prettiest eyes he’s ever seen look at him with a vacant kind of neutrality, simply analysing for a second before moving away.

    “Hello,” the white-haired guy greets, giving him a small smile that looks too practised to be natural, before looking back at the drawings on the desk.

    “I normally sit at this table.” Sukuna says, hoping the newbie will take the hint. He can just get up and find another chemistry class to attend, perhaps one with the assholes he spends his lunches with.

    A lazy hum of confirmation is his only reply. Sukuna’s left eye twitches in annoyance.
