Summary
On the night of Wilbur’s death, the blond had walked on autopilot for hours, mindless mourning the loss of his lover. He wasn’t supposed to die, that was never the plan. He felt betrayed, but no feeling could be worse than the guilt and sorrow. Knowing that, once again, he failed Will - his Will - tore him from the inside in such a way he was sure he would die right there, alone. All he did, though, was fall asleep on the ground, soaked in tears, numb by the pain.
When the man woke up the next morning, his axe was pressed in a cut-down log, in the middle of a just-born clearing he had no memory of making. Nights later, laid down in the middle of a flower camp, next to a grave, Dream looked at the stars and wondered which one of them was Wilbur.
