Summary
Fukuchi wants a reason to beat Fukuzawa, so he makes a bet that Fukuzawa accepts at fifteen. As they age and hone their skills, Fukuzawa continues to win. The stars are lucky to bear witness to their spars and to everything else one night shortly before Fukuchi's twentieth birthday, where a bottle of stolen sake and their delay of gratification become the catalyst for something far more than either of them expect.
Or: Stupid teenagers Fukuzawa and Fukuchi fall in love while sparring and eventually (when they’re 19) rail.
