Summary
Raiden has enough of all the bickering and fighting Johnny and Kenshi do everyday—beyond done with them—so he certainly does not feel an ounce of sympathy as he shouts at the two.
“Come on! Anyone can see that you two have some tension building up for a while now. So are you going to do something about it and kiss or what?”
What he didn't consider is that Kung Lao would jump in on it and egg them on further. “I dare you to kiss!” He yells. -

Summary
The voice sounds oddly familiar, but through the static on the line Kenshi can’t quite pinpoint why.
“Ah. Funny story,” Johnny says. “You’ll never guess who I woke up next to this morning.”
“Raiden?” Kung Lao sounds hopeful.
"Hah. Unfortunately not.”
Kenshi furrows his brows, confused. “What do you mean ‘unfortunately not?’”
“Calm down, Scarecrow, I still love you most of all.” Johnny chuckles. “I just think he would have been more pleasant than Shang Tsung.”
The one where Shang Tsung's magic ruins a perfectly good weekend. In his defense, it is an accident.

Summary
Mike doesn’t expect much from his twenty-first birthday. Not a life-changing moment. Not anything big. Just dinner with his friends, maybe a few drinks, and a night that ends like any other.
He definitely doesn’t expect Will to forget his gift.
He definitely doesn’t expect what comes after.
Or: Will doesn’t forget Mike’s gift, he just waits until they’re alone.
