Summary
All his life, Gerard has written stories and drawn comics to cope with tragedy. After an attempt on his life, he gets cursed, and is forced into the worlds he created along with Ray, Frank, and Mikey.
The only way home is to keep his friends from dying by the time the story ends. If one of them dies, Gerard is stuck in the world until all his friends are dead.

Gerard does not sleep with the same person twice, he does not date, and he certainly does not fall for the people he's intimate with. So what if keeps a note book filled with the names of people he's slept with? He just likes keeping track of the number, and will continue to block the people who fall for him.
Well, until Frank Iero finds the list and decides to teach him a lesson by forcing them to spend winter break together.
Or in Gerard words, blackmails him into dating him.

I still think about the time I binge read this entire fic till the sun came up just because I had to know what would happen next. I still think about the plot, the characters, what happened, and sometimes I want to go back and reread this. Amazing, even if I wanted a more solid ending, and more time for the main love story to breathe at the end. (Who am I kidding though, this is my curse for all the angsty shit I write)

This was one of those reads that felt so hard to get through, and yet I could not stop reading at the same time. As soon as a chapter ended I had to read the next even though I knew it would hurt, and that I would hate it. The unreliable narrator part of this fic is SO solid, I felt everything Frank went through, and it was like he always had the agency I wanted him to have. He's in an abusive relationship, and yet this story really breaks down how that happened, and why it occurred.
God, it's like everything about this story felt so real, there's not a single thing I didn't like about it other than how painful it was, and yet that's also what made it good too. I want to reread it even though I know it will hurt, and I know I will probably think about this fic until the day I lay on my death bed. It taught me so much, and is probably the greatest thing I've ever read, I'm not even being dramatic. It gets the reputation it deserves. -

Gerard is on thin ice at Pencey Prep. He’s failing chemistry, getting into scraps with lacrosse jocks, and has absolutely no shot at getting a date to homecoming. On top of it all, he can’t swim, can’t dance and doesn’t know karate. When the Dean tells him he’s got one semester to clean up his act or face expulsion, he's crushed. Luckily, Gerard and his band of misfits form a pact and agree that if he goes, they all go.

Ughhhhhh this fic is so goooood!!! If you watched the I'm Not Okay mv and thought "Damn, I want that, but in story form." this is the fic for you! So cute, so fun, I remember waiting with baited breath for each update. It's just that good.
