Summary
Hangman knew that Rooster was the right one to go on the mission, he’s known it from the start despite his actions and words and what they portrayed. He knew it from the moment he saw Rooster and Maverick look at each other, along with all the talks he’s overheard. Hangman also knew that despite Rooster being the right choice; but Rooster wasn't been ready, at least in the beginning. That's why Hangman pushed and got under Roosters skin; he needs Rooster to be ready. Hangman needs Rooster to come home.
