Summary
Jaskier gets an unusual request from a childhood friend. In helping them, he might have accidentally made an enemy of a powerful mage. In an unusual turn of good luck, he comes across a witcher willing to help him.
Geralt decides to take a vacation from his Warlord duties and travels through the galaxy disguised as the witcher Eric, taking contracts as they come. While making his way back to Kaer Morhen, he's approached by a bard in an unusual predicament.

Summary
This is my love letter to Geralt and Jaskier. It was inspired by The Rockrose and the Thistle, by The Amazing Devil. It begins after that day on the mountain. After about a month of abject misery, Geralt and Jaskier are reunited by the fates in Dol Blathanna.
Geralt has been hired by the king to kill a bruxa. Jaskier (in the same city for a music festival) learns that the hunt is a ruse and Geralt is walking into an ambush. Jaskier must go to extremes to save the man he loves.
And, after learning why the king wants Geralt dead, Geralt’s traumatic past comes back to haunt him. Saving Geralt’s life might be the easy part.
Earns its explicit rating in the final chapter.
There are original character POVs, so you see Geralt and Jaskier through a third person sometimes, which I enjoy.
There are so many The Amazing Devil lyrics I've snuck in. Gotta catch em all.
