“But it doesn’t count as being single either.” She countered fairly, and Ezra couldn’t find it in him to argue against that so he kept his mouth shut.
“You kids need to go outside,” Zeb added helpfully, “touch grass or whatever it is Kanan and Hera are doing out camping.”
“I don’t need to touch grass, I need a girlfriend.” Sabine huffed, picking up a couch pillow and burying her face in it out of frustration.
“Ditto.” Ezra mumbled wistfully, “besides, I touch plenty of grass…”
Left house sitting for the summer and unable to escape the boredom of his surrounding neighbourhood, Ezra has one last chance to make that summer fling finally happen when he and Sabine come up with a brilliant idea…

At first he dared not to move, concerned the stranger was sleeping, and that upon hearing him approach would be startled. However, after looking closer at the figure, the stranger didn’t appear to be sleeping at all.
