Dying on Mantle's Approach, Cortana wakes up in an unfamiliar environment. In her drive to get home, she 'employs' the assistance of the local synthetics. Very quickly, however, he plan goes off the rails, with a looming galactic threat, and the local organics' own fear of her kind.
She never wanted to be a galactic overlord. But a UNSC AI in an environment woefully unprepared for one of her caliber makes an easy one.

Summary
After exploring a Forerunner station, the Master Chief, along with a combined fleet of the UNSC and the Swords of Sanghelios, ends up in the Mass Effect universe. Unfortunately for the Master Chief, he was separated from his team and ended up on a station full of scum and villainy. Luckily for him, though, he ended up saving a quite talented Quarian engineer who was quite knowledgeable about where they were. Now, can he find his way back to his Fleet with the help of his new Ally, or will he be lost forever?

The idea for this fanfiction was inspired by @Friend_of_The_Souls on Wattpad. While inspiration was taken from his work titled Humanity's Lost Identity. The content of this work was written by me.
