“Eddie, why don’t you introduce yourself,” Bob suggested.
First of all, the guy was like 10% hair. Which Steve could respect, had Eddie actually done anything with it. It was clear he didn’t even know what product was, let alone how to use it. Did he even own a hairbrush? God. Steve thought about whether or not it would be against the rules to write out a hair care routine for the poor bastard before he left.
“Uhh, I’m Eddie, as Bob here said,” Eddie began with a half-assed wave. “I dunno what else you want me to say. I’m here to get shrunk, I guess.”

Summary
Eddie Munson has always been sharp.
Not cruel.
Sharp.
His eyes are always looking for an exit, even when his brain isn’t. He’s always ready to move, muscles taut even as his arms hang loose at his sides. It’s leftover from when he was a kid, probably, when a single wrong move could leave him bruised for weeks.
It comes as a surprise, then, the first time his eyes go to Steve Harrington instead of Steve’s front door.
(Or: Eddie Munson keeps wanting to run. Steve keeps giving him reasons not to.)
