Summary
“Losing you is going to hurt Steve, but I promise I will heal. I’ll be okay. You don’t have to worry about me.” Eddie says with a deep breath.
“I watched you die in 1986, and it was terrible, I don’t want you to have to watch me die Eddie. I can’t do that to you. I won’t do that to you.” Steve says softly as he lies in their bed, while Eddie holds his hands in an effort to warm them up. It’s November of 1989, and even though Eddie has the heat in their apartment turned up, Steve’s hands always seem to be cold lately.
“I’ll be there with you, and it will be my greatest pleasure.” Eddie says softly. “I’ll hold you until you’re gone. I won’t let you go alone…”
