Summary
Midoriya Izuku has always been written off as weird. As if it's not bad enough to be the quirkless weakling, he has to be the weird quirkless weakling on top of it.
But truthfully, the "weird" part is the only part that's accurate. He's determined not to be a weakling, and in spite of what it says on paper, he's not actually quirkless. Even before meeting All-Might and taking on the power of One For All, Izuku isn't quirkless.
Not that anyone would believe it if he told them.

Todoroki Shouto was explosively reminded that he wanted to be a hero for himself and not to spite his father. Now he just isn’t sure what type of hero he wants to be. He definitely doesn’t want to be a hero like his father but trying to be like All Might doesn’t seem right either.

The fic where Izuku and Shouto separately decide to go into underground heroics. Hitoshi isn't sure what to think about the two with perfect limelight quirks going underground. While Tomura is set to be the subject of Tsubasa and Sensei's plans to circumvent the Quirk Singularity. Izuku is valuable enough to be a backup vessel if Tomura's unstable personality proves unconquerable.
Izuku disappears at the age of seven and is held captive by AFO. Forced to endure experimentation, the unstable moods of Shigaraki Tomura, and a strange connection to the vestiges of the previous OFA holders, Izuku survives his captivity. Years after escaping Izuku is still not reunited with his mother but living in hiding. He and his unorthodox family fight AFO in the shadows as the Quirkless Alliance. When the QA receives word that All Might is joining UA where a traitor is rumored to exist Izuku fights to get into the school despite his quirklessness to protect the man who unknowingly saved him. He might end up adopted by accident.

As he climbed over the railings, taking his childhood friends advice, he never expected the advice to actually pan out. He definitely didn’t expect to still be alive afterwards…. Though then again…. Was he? Er… she. Oh god, this was going to be confusing.

Life doesn't always go the way you want it to. Sometimes it just throws you in a garbage can and lights the garbage can on fire and laughs as you scream in agony. And all you can do is tell yourself that it'll be okay. That you'll be okay. And sometimes you're right and you wake up the next morning to a wonderful day full of sunshine and rainbows and singing birds and you start living life in a damn Disney movie.
Other times you're wrong. The cycle just continues. Maybe Life adds lighter fluid next time. Or fills the bottom of the can with dead fish. And it's up to you to get up off your sorry ass and do something to fix your life because it is clear that you're basically alone. When there's no hero coming to save you, you're forced to save yourself. Be your own hero.
Izuku decides the best way to be a hero is to be a teacher.

Despair clogged up Izuku’s mouth and he sunk to the ground, clutching the notebook to his chest as he sobbed. He had finished this notebook just last week. Had started to seriously consider becoming a hero and had started looking into hero’s who’s quirks really didn’t give them powers.
“I’m sorry.”
He bowed his head over the notebook, his tears and snot mixing with the blood now staining it's perfect cover. A cover he had carefully designed one night after finishing his homework.
“But we can't be a hero.” He sobbed, and clutched it tightly to his chest, bowing his head as he felt something vital, something beautiful inside him, flicker, flicker and then — it was gone.
And with it so was Izuku Midoriya.
