He maintains that hum and leans a little closer, voice a murmur when he asks him, “Do you think I could help you out with that, baby?”
With even glassier eyes and lips slightly parted, Peter unfurls his fingers from where they were unknowingly clenched up in fists and practically whispers a little, “Yeah, I think so.”
