Theo looks out at the view and sighs. “Isn’t this like, the best thing you’ve ever seen?”
With Theo preoccupied with the landscape, Parrot turns to look at him. His long eyelashes and sharp jaw cast long shadows on his skin. The warmth of the sunlight is reflected in his kind eyes and is slowly painting a light, sunburnt blush on his rosy cheeks.
Staring at Theo, Parrot responds, “Yeah. Beautiful.”

You had to trust the person if you wanted to be able to trust them with your very being- because once that skin was peeled off it was very easy to influence one. For good or for worse.
