Summary
Stumbling to the bathroom, Gojo flicked on the light before promptly flicking it back off when the blinding light nearly made him double over. Spots of light danced across his vision, and Gojo used every ounce of his strength and resolve to keep the bile rising up his throat down. There was no way in hell he was about to start his day by throwing up everything he had the night before. Besides, he didn't want the kids to hear it.
Once the nausea passed, Gojo got himself ready in the dark, using his memory and hands to find his way around. He brushed his teeth before hopping in the shower. It was meant to be a quick shower, but the hot water felt heavenly, and Gojo found himself closing his eyes as he just stood underneath the spray. Although it didn't fully disappear, the hot water helped to alleviate some of the pain and reduce it to something more manageable.

A blur of movement and a rupture of light, striking and bursting wide enough to cover everything in Nanami’s vision, his arm raising defensively in front of his face as he fell back a step. It was barely a moment or two before the vicious wind died as quickly as it had begun.
He opened his eyes and lowered his arm.
Gojo wasn't standing in front of him anymore. He looked around, expecting the other man to have already moved towards the source of the attack, then – when he found the parking lot as empty as before – looked down.
There on the ground just ahead of him, his head covered in blood, was the strongest sorcerer in the world.

He has to squint to see the floor and bed, and when the shadows fade enough, he’s able to make out the curled up form on it. His chest aches as he gets closer and sees how twisted the sheets are around her, how her hands are clenched into fists, how her face is contorted in grief.
