Summary
Izuku has long been of the belief that, much like his quirklessness, he is a part of the 35% of the world’s population without a soulmate. He has made his peace with that. It is just another sad fact of his life and one among the many ways in which he is fundamentally unloveable.
This is only cemented when his mentor and mother get together, soon followed by half of his new classmates at UA, like the universe is shoving his perpetual loneliness in his face.
And then he discovers that his teacher is his second favorite hero, Eraserhead, and he irrevocably falls in love. It is not a gradual fall, but a steep decline into apparent madness, and despite how he does his best to ignore it, he eventually resigns himself to waiting (miserably) until graduation and beyond to attempt to woo the man of his dreams, if at all possible.
Good things come to those who wait, as they say. And Izuku's willing to wait as long as it takes.
But maybe he won’t have to, in the end. Maybe Izuku's love life isn't so hopeless, after all?

Summary
After leaving teaching behind for a less than dramatic return to heroics, Izuku is assigned perpetual nightshifts to ease the transition. Initially, he finds the dark hours peaceful, but when his coworker goes on sick leave and he has to patrol solo, he’s concerned about the creeping loneliness.
All of that changes when a crow appears, stalking him, stealing his coffee flavoured snacks and in shocking twist, helping him arrest attackers and chase thieves! Izuku wonders: Could it be the guiding crow god, Yatagarasu?!
Shouta meanwhile, is in a concealed state of misery. His co-worker and secret “unrequited” love has quit his job. Initially he thinks it's a good thing. He can finally lock away this pointless affection and focus on teaching… until a rare opportunity presents itself. A way that he can be close to his treasure without making a mistake and ruining their strictly professional relationship. With this, he can bask in all that beautiful warmth and enjoy those sweet, intelligent mumbles.
Maybe being the victim of a quirk attack is an opportunity, not an affliction…

Summary

Shota sneers at the teenager across from him. His defense raises like the hairs on the back of his neck as he glares steadily, ready and waiting for whatever will come from this encounter. He narrows his gaze when the teen shifts; just the thought of sharing this rooftop with Japan's most notorious villain makes his skin prickle. “Deku.”
“Y-yes!” the teenager cries out in relief, taking a small step towards Shota, “I’m Deku! I’m so g-glad you—”
“Deku,” Shota growls darkly, flicking out his capture weapon hastily to snag the villain before he can make his move. He's quick to tug it taut, leaving no room for Deku to escape. “You’re under arrest.”
“I-I’m what?! W-wait!”
tl;dr
Hero Course student Izuku comes to the realization that he is definitely not where he's supposed to be.
