Hashirama smiles, but there’s tension at the corners of his eyes. He laughs and winds an arm over Madara’s shoulders. Madara hisses at the onslaught of magic that pours off the fae king. “I’m sure it’s hardly worth your time,” Hashirama tells him, “Necromancers move on quickly enough.”

Summary
“You do, in essence, live with Uchiha-sama,” Danzo comments neutrally, though his distaste for Madara is as obvious as always, “Lay Hiruzen’s delusion to rest before he begins to obsess.”
Kagami opens his mouth to protest that he does, in fact, keep his own apartment… that he rarely uses, save to store a few belongings and hobble back to when he prefers Madara and Tobirama not to know that he’s bypassed the hospital for bed. He closes it to reconsider.
Satisfaction colors Saru’s smirk. He elbows Danzo, “See? Even Kagami can’t deny it.”

Summary
The cover of new lovers is admittedly not a bad one. Most people have the tendency to politely look the other way with a romantic couple in public. Given Izuna’s skill at establishing the outflow of rumors from Konoha as those of stability of cohesion, most of these civilians won’t even pay the startled sort of attention those in the village would to see them working without open argument.
It’s just that Hashirama and Izuna are blissfully ignorant of the fact that Madara and Tobirama have been sleeping together for a little over three months now.

(Madara may have been hoping for some way to end the fighting. What he got was a soulmate instead.)
