He had wanted to give her his own unfulfilled dreams, his own shattered hopes, his own desperate longing for a journey that had never reached its destination. He had wanted to make her repeat his mistakes, to walk the same path of destruction, to experience the same horrors he had endured.

But Nagisa at least holds a bit of pity for his uncle’s lover. Though he only knew her by Akechi-san.
Out of everyone in his family, he holds the most love for his cousin, though he thinks that love is not returned. It doesn’t really matter. Nagisa doesn’t love to be loved in return. If he was, he would have loved his parents a lot more.
