The company’s stocks spike, and as expected the internet goes buckwild; Pat’s name hasn’t left Twitter’s top trends in Thailand since his tweet announcing his engagement, and reporters from every single major news outlet have rushed over to wait by the doors to the company headquarters just so they can hopefully catch a glimpse of Pat and somehow get him to explain why on Earth he’s marrying -
“I saw the news,” Ink says when she picks up. She sounds amused, because of course she does, and Pran fights down the hysteria that bubbles up in him at the reminder of why, exactly, he dialed her in a panic the moment he was free to have a moment to himself.
“So, when were you going to tell me that you’re engaged to Pat Napat Jindapat?”
